Biomass Energy Co-operative Ltd (BECL) specialises in finding bio-energy solutions for micro-generation. BECL is the UK rights holder to a multi-fuel biomass system that has the capability of burning at least 4 agri-waste fuels in compliance with clean air legislation, which it working to bring to the UK market.
In addition, BECL has a 2m ltr biodiesel refinery in Warrington selling to the local market. Its sister company, Biosel Ltd is currently working with Lancaster University to explore the feasibility of producing biodiesel from food wastes.
