The research group on "environmental engineering and bioengineering" at the University of La Coruña (ES) has broad expertise in bionconversion processes of volatile (e.g., syngas, VOC) and soluble substrates, upgrading of biofuels (e.g., biogás upgrading, H2S removal), production of biofuels (.g., ethanol, butanol) and bioproducts (e.g., PHA, PHB) from pollutants, and environmental engineering (biological flue gas and wastewater treatment) (see, e.g. Kennes C and Veiga MC. 2013.
