The Lignocellulosic Biorefinery Network (LBNet) is a Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council Network in Industrial Biotechnology and Bioenergy (BBSRC NIBB). LBNet is an active community of industrial practitioners and leading academics dedicated to creating economic value by developing novel chemicals, materials and fuel using lignocellulosic biomass instead of petroleum-derived inputs. LBNet provides both access to a range of funding to kick-start innovation in the sector, and organises events.
